The date is May 17, 2012. My last entry was so long ago I don’t remember what it was about. But I remember why I started this blog. I remember what I wanted to accomplish, what for a long time I felt that Ididaccomplish. I remember losing the time necessary to continue, and the sadness that accompanied that.
Today I feel happy. I am returning from a long hiatus to resume something that I really enjoyed! With new focus, with refined appreciation, and with defined intentions, I present the first day of the new blog. Perhaps it’s appropriate that my blog starts anew on father’s day. It was always “my baby,” separate from whatever else I was involved with – am involved with – at the time. Today, I recommit to providing useful commentary, demonstration, and credible analysis of music (and especially guitar) related software.
Thank you, to everyone who has visited while this blog was dormant. I hope you’re ready for some fun times ahead! I most certainly am.
My most recent additions have been related to Amplitube Custom Shop, and I’ll review and comment on them first. But I intend to catch up and grow to meet the state of the industry today, bringing with me years of experience in both hardware and software as well as professional experience that I’ve added over the course of the long period of rest for the blog (because I certainly haven’t been resting!). Look for new content to start arriving regularly soon. I can’t wait to get back into the swing of things.
This should be fun!
